Once upon a time, there lived a king who ruled over
three kingdoms. The name of the three kingdoms were – ODI, T20I and TEST. There
were also other people who were like him but he always dominated them. The king
had won 70 wars and was very close to his 71st. After winning 70
wars, he went on a voyage. The motive of this voyage was to experiment new
things and new modern ways of winning wars. He learnt them and practised them
also but was not successful. When he came back from his voyage, he executed the
new ways and techniques of war but could not dominate the wars. After 1,021
days got past and he could not dominate the wars, he also did not win them and he
was not so confident now and, in that period, the other people who were their
started to win wars and gained faith of people and The King’s following was low.
Then he took a break and spent some time with his family and friends and after
1 month he returned with a bang!!!! He won his 71st war and he was
back, the KING was back. This story is just a representation of Virat Kohli aka
the King Kohli’s journey.
He smashed his 71st century against
Afghanistan in one of India’s outings in the Asia Cup on 8th September,
2022. He made 122* of 61 balls and leading India to victory in that match.
