My Agra Trip - Part 3

Whenever I go to Agra, I mention about it in my blog. I have also mentioned that it is my Grandmother's house. This time I didn't go there, this time we went with two other families and stayed in a hotel. First we had a plan of going to Amritsar but then we went to Agra. We went on 28th August and came on 31st August as it was a three day holiday weekend. As always we went their via the Yamuna Expressway and reached their in four hours. We stayed in the hotel named Jaypee Palace. It was a hotel but when you go inside it, it'll look like a resort because it is a very big property. We went there and checked - in to our rooms. Then we went to Dasaprakash, a south - Indian restaurant in Agra and it was a very nice restaurant. We came to our hotel and on the way we ate ice - cream. We came back to the hotel and went to the swimming pool. Then we children went to the play zone and played carrrom. After that we all went to do dinner. We went for a walk after that and we all children played ice and water. Next day, we had a plan of going to Taj Mahal. We woke up and did breakfast and then went to the swimming pool. We then went to the Taj Mahal. We took a guide and he explained Taj Mahal's history very well. Then we went to the most local place in Agra, Sadar Bazaar. In Sadar Bazaar we went to the most famous place, Chaat Gali. Their we ate Pav Bhaji, Golgappe, Aloo Tikki, Dahi Golgappe and Falooda. Then we visited all Sadar Bazaar and we ate Franky and Chowmein in our dinner from Mama Franky. Next day, we ate breakfast and then went to the Swimming Pool. We checked - out after that and went to the historical Gurudwara, Gura Ka Taal. We then started our journey back home and in between we ate Samosas and drank Lassi from a shop named Dauji. This shop was also famous in Agra. Then we went back home and it was a very nice trip and everybody liked the trip.

India vs England 2nd test 2021: Day 5

Day 5, England took the new ball just at the start of the day. Rishabh Pant showed some counter attack but his counter attack couldn’t stay longer as Joe Root repeated the trick which he did before and brought Mark Wood with the new ball and he took the wicket of Rishabh Pant. He tried to cut the ball but he was late and the ball touched his bat and it was an easy catch for Jos Buttler. Mark Wood took the wicket of Rishabh Pant. Then after some balls Ollie Robinson bowled a slower delivery and Ishant Sharma was LBW. India made a tactical review but the decision remained the same. Then the Bumrah – Shami show started as they did an unbeaten 89 – run partnership to make India’s led to 271 and target for England to 272. All were saying that a 200 + lead is perfect but India did more than expected. England were in immense pressure as there was rain of runs especially by the Indian tail enders. Everybody could see their pressure as England lost their first wicket only in the first over and second wicket in the second over. Rory Burns got out in the first over as it was a leading edge and an easy catch for Siraj. Dom Sibley’s poor form continued as it was a beautiful delivery from Mohammed Shami and he edged the ball and went to Rishabh Pant. Then after some overs Hasib Hameed who was hanging out for a while got LBW. Ishant Sharma bowled a beautiful delivery which came backed in. It was the last ball before lunch and Bairstow, the new man in, also got out LBW. India just reviewed the decision in the last second and the decision was over tuned to India’s favour and Bairstow got out to Ishant Sharma. After lunch, Joe Root, the most dangerous man, also got out. Jasprit Bumrah bowled a very good ball and the ball touching Root’s edge went to the slip cordon and it was an easy one for Virat Kohli. Then Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali showed some hope to the English fans for a draw as they played 16 overs. Their partnership could not stay longer as Siraj bowled an out – swinging delivery which touched Moeen Ali’s bat and it went to Virat Kohli. Sam Curran on a king pair went for a Golden duck as he also got out to Siraj. He edged the ball and it went to Rishabh Pant. Ollie Robinson also played 18 deliveries but got out to a slower ball from Jasprit Bumrah. India reviewed the decision and the review went in India’s favour as Robinson got out LBW. In the next over only Buttler also edged one to Rishabh Pant on the ball of Mohammed Siraj. India’s chances of winning went to 100% as after one ball Siraj took the wicket of James Anderson. It was an exceptional and thrilling win for Team India at Lord’s. Kl Rahul was awarded the Man of the Match award for his excellent century.
